Hi Gabriel,
Effectively, it looks like the uphill/downhill values caused the problem.
The Garmin reported 73m elevation gain, whereas, for whatever reason, RC had 345m...
After editing and saving the correct values, I was prompted to adjust the trainings and the times are more reasonable now.
Many Thanks!

Roslan

Hi Roslan
the calculated time in the fitnes level settings is a 10km time based on your competition. It also takes uphil and downhill into calculation. This could actually be the reason for your fast new prognosis and training times. please check the uphill and downhill values which were logged by Garmin and RC. This has quite a big impact.
Recover well!

Hi,
I ran the Reusslauf today and , after entering the results into RunningCoach, i was asked if I wanted to training to be updated based on the results. I clicked on "yes".
Then, out of curiosity, I went to the "training settings" tab to look at the estimated times of the next competitions. They were quite a bit faster than what i expected.
Then, I scrolled further down and noticed that in the "Fitness Level calculation" section, it had chosen "I ran a test course" of a "10km" distance dated today (4th March 2017) . The time it is showing is "00:45:53", which, when checking the splits of today's race in GarminConnect, is a time that I did not do. In fact, in Garmin, the 10km time is "00:51:21".
This is obviously over optimistic. Can you please advise.
Thanks.
